To preserve the quality of each material whether wool, cotton, knit, or kapok please follow these tailored care instructions. Note that these suggestions are provided at your own risk; results may vary.
General Care Guidelines (For All Items)
• Avoid Full Submersion:
Due to their natural, minimally processed state, our products should not be fully submerged in water. Instead, opt for gentle spot cleaning.
• Spot Cleaning Solution:
Mix 3 parts water with 1 part vinegar. Apply to stains and expose the fabric to sunlight until the stain and odors fade. Alternatively, use a plant based to mild laundry detergent.
• Drying:
Ensure items do not remain damp to prevent uneven wear or mold growth. After cleaning, gently dry the item using a hair dryer or by air-drying in a well-ventilated area. Always allow items to dry completely before reassembling with covers.
• Special Treatments:
For surface stains, use hydrogen peroxide for blood and rubbing alcohol for cosmetic oils.
Wool Items
• Washing:
Hand wash or use a gentle cycle with cool water and a wool-specific detergent. Avoid vigorous agitation and wringing to prevent felting.
• Drying:
Lay flat to air dry in a shaded area. Do not use high heat.
• Maintenance:
Periodically brush with a soft brush to restore loft and remove surface dirt.
Cotton Items
• Washing:
Machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle with an eco-friendly detergent.
• Drying:
Tumble dry on low heat or line dry to minimize wrinkles. Remove promptly from the dryer.
• Maintenance:
For best results, turn items inside out before washing to protect colors and fabric texture.
Knit Items
• Washing:
For delicate knit fabrics, either hand wash or machine wash on a delicate cycle in cold water.
• Drying:
Lay flat or use a low-heat setting in the dryer to preserve the shape and texture of the knit. Avoid over-drying, which can cause stretching.
• Maintenance:
Gently reshape the item by hand after washing and before drying, ensuring the knit retains its intended form.
Kapok-Filled Items (Pillows, Duvets, etc.)
• Cleaning:
Spot clean using the solution of 3 parts water to 1 part vinegar or a mild detergent. Do not fully submerge to maintain the natural loft.
• Drying:
Air dry completely in a well-ventilated area. Fluff the item regularly to ensure even distribution of the kapok.
• Maintenance:
Avoid machine washing to prevent clumping of the kapok fibers; spot cleaning is recommended to maintain integrity.

• Drying: Tumble dry on low heat or hang to line dry; promptly remove to reduce wrinkles and preserve their silky drape.
• Maintenance: Iron on low heat if needed, but bamboo naturally resists wrinkles, so minimal ironing is required.
Silk Eye Mask:
• Cleaning: Hand wash gently in cold water with a silk-specific detergent.
• Drying: Lay flat in a shaded, well-ventilated area to air dry avoid direct sunlight to protect its delicate fibers.
• Tip: Do not wring; simply press gently to remove excess water.
Wool Dryer Balls:
• Usage: Allow them to naturally air out between loads to maintain their shape and effectiveness in softening fabrics and reducing drying time.
• Care: Spot clean with a damp cloth if necessary, and periodically place them in the sun for a natural refresh.
